THE STREET OF THE POETS

ALMA AND THE TRIP TO THE SEA

THE LAW OF THE NIGHT
THE STREET OF THE POETS (1999)
At a future time, the "man that speaks alone" finds a sign of the Street of the Poets amid the brashes. Then he begins to revive the stories of the characters that inhabited that symbolic place of an imaginary neighborhood.
Deo is a painter that belongs to the generation of the years 70, in that time he met a mysterious woman called "The Parca" whose memory and ghastly presence always pursued him. For the chances of their life, Deo ends up knowing a young girl called Erida, with which maintains a passionate erotic relationship and without commitments.
Erida belongs to the gang of Sharp Scream, Candy and Celso, with them makes graffitti and spontaneous art as a way of criticism to the established system and its double morality. All they live together, in a room that they have denominated "further on". The gang has two enemies of death, the "knives" and the "tombo" that hate its style of life and they go watching to attack them..
Paradiso is an old friend of Deo, that has a place called Cinema of the Dream. There they frequently meet to exchange ideas and to share artistic projects.
The destinations of the characters cross, amid encounters and losses. The "man that speaks alone" is the witness of all that happened in the Street of the Poets.
